CHAPTER 6.00 - PERSONNEL

6.941 Terms of Service

Policy:

(1) Instructional personnel employed on ten (10) month contracts shall be required to render 196 days of actual service. The term of service shall consist of 180 actual teaching days with the remaining service being rendered during preschool, postschool, authorized holidays, or special professional days. 

(2) Instructional and administrative personnel employed on twelve (12) month contracts shall be required to render twelve (12) months of service. The term of service shall be 250 days consisting of 244 actual working days and 6 authorized paid holidays.
