CHAPTER 6.00 - PERSONNEL
6.942 Length of Working Days
Policy:
(1) During student contact days of the regular school term, ten, eleven, and twelve month instructional personnel shall be on duty for the period of time specified in the current collective bargaining agreement.
(2) The time to report for duty and the responsibility of setting the beginning and ending time for students is delegated to the principals or each school but must be submitted to the Superintendent for approval.
(a) The principal or supervisor is charged with the responsibility of seeing that the minimum standard is met.
(b) Deviation from the established hours shall be only as otherwise provided in these rules.
(3) The length and schedule of summer work shall be established annually by the Board upon recommendation of the Superintendent.
